Photography began as a hobby. While obtaining my Bachelor's of Science degree from Aquinas College, I began taking classes in film photography and fell in love with the darkroom. I found I had a passion for the subject, and soon I ventured into the digital world.
While taking digital photography classes at Jackson College, I was able to gain experience shooting multiple subjects. I studied photographs from the greats and began to find my own style. I started to push the limits of the traditional medium to create stunning abstract images. Never having shown my images outside of the classroom, I decided to take my photographs public and have been exhibited three times in ArtPrize, the international art competition headquartered in Grand Rapids (www.artprize.org). Constantly exploring the creative medium, I push the limits of traditional photography with new techniques and rare images.
Now it is time for me to take the next step and turn my hobby into a career. Please visit my gallery and tell me what you think. Pardon my digital dust as the galleries are under construction. More images coming soon!
